Summer... I was beginning to wonder if it would ever come. It sounds like its been a common complaint around Canada this year, but it finally appears to have arrived. With summer comes a crazy schedule of Live performances, Production of the New Bobby Wills project and hopefully some days with the Family. It's a balancing act to say the least, but somehow we manage...
First weekend of July marks the first summer dates with two Corporate shows on the 1st and 2nd. Private parties are some of my favourite gigs because they have a much more intimate feel than the big stages, a real chance to interact with the audience and hopefully make some new fans. From there we jump full force into the craziness of Stampede.. On thursday the 7th we kick off the party at Cowboys Downtown at there new location at the Cowboys Casino right beside the round up centre. The Tent is, as we speak, being staged and I am told will have a capacity of around 5000.... On the 9th of July we will be headlining a show at the Century Casino.. A great venue to come dance and kick Stampede off. On wednesday the 13th we are at Fats Bar and Grill in Kensington.... We finish Stampede off back where we Started at Cowboys on Friday the 15th!!! ALong with these public shows the boys and I will be running from Corporate show to corporate show so it promises to be a busy, but exciting week... I hope you all can make a show!!!
Thats the first two weeks of July for you, then things start to get Busy!!!!!
