2011 is underway and with spring around the corner (ok a little optimistic) things are getting busy fast!!!! In a couple weeks I will be on my way to Vail Colorado which I am extremely excited about for a number of reasons... First off I have never been.... while mountains are nothing new being raised in the Rockies, Vail is supposed to be one of the best Ski/Mountain destinations in North America, if not the world.. more importantly I am being joined in Vail by my good friend, Hit songwriter and producer Mike Pyle and Hit songwriter (understatement) Producer etc... Walt Aldridge. These two guys have so much Talent that its hard to even explain... suffice it to say I will happily be the "weakest link" in the room throughout our writing sessions. (I am hopeful that I can maybe be the talent on the Hill, however that remains to be seen!!!). Then when we get home we will begin work on the Album. April through summer are starting to fill up with live dates... So excited to get out and play!!!! My wife and I will be in Vegas for the awards show again this year and Hopefully I will get to take her somewhere tropical shortly after.... Lord knows she deserves it puttin' up with my hectic schedule! (yes Honey I know that Nashville does not qualify as Tropical) Then the summer Run followed by Canadian Country Music Week in September. So Busy is probably an understatement!!!
The current single is at Radio Now "Man with No Past" so please take a moment and request it at your local radio station. Its a song that we are very proud of. I wrote the song with Nashville heavyweights (and great guys!!) Wade Kirby and Michael White, and am so excited to have it Out there!!!!
